IN THIS LESSON
Module 1 - Core Values for the Sober
Living in alignment with your values is the strongest deterrent against relapse and the quickest route to lasting fulfillment. When your actions consistently reflect what you truly care about, temptation loses its grip and decisions become clearer. Stability follows because your life has direction, not merely distraction.
In midlife many people experience a natural shift in priorities—from external achievement like career advancement and possessions toward deeper internal qualities such as integrity and meaningful connection. That reorientation can feel unsettling at first, but it’s also liberating: you stop measuring success by applause and start measuring it by how you show up for the people and principles that matter.
Recognizing and embracing that shift allows you to reorient goals, invest in relationships, and build a life that feels rich, honest, and resilient. The work becomes less about chasing appearances and more about cultivating habits, boundaries, and practices that reinforce who you want to be—so fulfillment isn’t fleeting, it’s built to last.
